*Bio: Tracy Virtue*
Tracey Virtue currently serves as the Director, Operations Strategy at US AutoParts Network, a $320M publicly traded Internet retailer of aftermarket automotive parts. She is a UCLA Anderson EMBA graduate who finished in the top 10 of her class. For over 18 years, Ms. Virtue has increased the profitability of multiple companies through her expertise in strategy, people, processes, and promotion. Her stellar communication skills continually connect cross-functional teams to find solutions to complex problems in rapidly changing and competitive business climates. She has a track record of strong results ranging from increasing division revenues 10x to decreasing returns by 50% to growing monthly unique visitors 50% year over year for three straight years.
Ms. Virtue has extensive experience taking new divisions and new companies from ground zero to high levels of success. At US AutoParts, working hand-in-hand with the CEO, she leads the company’s key strategic initiative called AutoMD.com, a consumer advocate for auto repair. Running an international team of over 50 people, she consistently grew the site’s monthly unique visitors (MUVs) by 50% year-over-year for three years to reach over 850k MUVs. Now she’s turned her attention to taking the site into new territory as an Online-to-Offline lead generation business in order to increase the site’s revenue and reach. The goal? Connect consumers with repair shops providing fair, transparent prices and trustworthy service.
Before joining US AutoParts, Ms. Virtue was headhunted by Volt Technical Resources to re-design, re-launch, and re-invigorate the company’s technical recruiting division in Orange County. Under her leadership the division flourished increasing top-line revenue to 10x previous levels and growing margins from 15% to 25%. Prior to Volt, Ms. Virtue was instrumental in the start-up of Sirius Consulting Group, an IT consulting firm in Canada, where she directed strategy, planning, marketing, operations, staffing, and sales. Working directly with the CEO she took the company from ground zero to $18M in sales and over 260 consultants in a period of three years.
